Last month the team at Mater Private Hospital Springfield had their busiest day ever caring for patients since the hospital opened, almost three years ago.
Throughout the day a total of 90 patients passed through the Mater Private Hospital Springfield theatres and Mater Cancer Care Centre.
Mater Private Hospital Springfield Director of Clinical Services, Suzanne Hawksley, said that it felt like any other day at Springfield.
“It was truly wonderful to see all of our teams pulling together in caring for our patients and their families,” she said.
“From our administration team, to nursing, to support services and food services, they were all instrumental in ensuring our patients were provided with high quality and safe care.
“For me, seeing everyone’s commitment to go above and beyond really cements why we are here and why we do what we do”.
The main procedures on the day included urology, gynaecology, general surgery, ophthalmology and gynaecology.
Mater Private Hospital Springfield celebrates their third birthday on 28 October.
