GPs are able to refer to Mater’s public outpatient department and Mater Mothers’ Hospital antenatal clinic using a number of secure, encrypted referral options. Follow the links below for a detailed overview of each referral option. 
  • Smart Referrals - Medical Director and Best Practice users (preferred method)
  • SmartForm referrals - PLEASE NOTE: Mater will be ceasing the use of our SmartForms from Friday 12 May 2023. We encourage you to start transitioning your referral processes now. Accepted referrals pathways include both Smart Referrals and secure electronic messaging, as detailed above.
