Mater has a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics service available to adult and maternity patients. Please refer to the table below for an outline of services provided.
For adult weight management and healthy lifestyle coaching, we recommend referring your patients to the free Get Healthy QLD program.
For lifestyle management of Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease in adults, we recommend referral to the free QLD Health COACH program.
Patient referrals are triaged according to prioritisation guidelines, and are booked for appointments accordingly. If you have any questions, or for more information, please telephone 07 3163 6000 Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Referrals for patients can be sent direct to the department via fax on 07 3163 2267.
