New electronic signage has been installed at Mater car parks to enable patients and visitors to navigate to available car parks more easily.
The new signage, installed early in 2017, provides a constantly updated electronic display of the number of car parks available in each Mater car park at South Brisbane helping patients and visitors to easily see which car park has spaces available and assisting them to navigate to these available spaces.
Operations Manager Campus Services Karen Toscano said the new signage was designed to help facilitate easier parking for patients and visitors when visiting Mater South Brisbane campus.
“Mater has four main car parks at its South Brisbane campus and previously it was difficult for patients and visitors to identify where spaces were available,” Ms Toscano said.
“With the introduction of the new signage we have already seen more people choosing to park in Mater Hill East/West car park instead of Hancock Street as they were able to identify spaces available in this car park.”
