Biography

Dr Jason Wong is a General, Upper GI and Bariatric Surgeon.  His practice, Brisbane General & Obesity Surgery, runs a unique bariatric program that offers comprehensive, holistic, multidisciplinary supportive care which empowers patients to achieve long-lasting positive lifestyle changes to get the most out of their surgery.

Patients achieve excellent outcomes and satisfaction, with extremely low complication, reflux and revision surgery rates due to optimal procedure selection and thorough assessment prior to surgery.

Dr Wong performs Sleeve Gastrectomy, One-Anastomosis Gastric Bypass, Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, Lap Band, Sleeve and ESG Revision Surgery, as well as complex revision surgery. 

He also performs hiatus hernia and anti-reflux surgery, gallbladder surgery including mini-laparoscopic two-port cholecystectomy, hernia surgery including laparoscopic complex ventral hernia surgery.

He consults from the Mater Medical Centre as well as his main rooms based in Redcliffe.
