A number of working committees incorporating medical, allied health, revenue and marketing representatives have been developed to review models of care and governance, along with opportunities for service realignment and innovation within our rehabilitation services. Recommendations for service improvement and innovations state-wide are also being reviewed as part of this project.
One of the new initiatives that is currently in progress is an updated suite of patient care pathway documents as part of process improvement and to ensure a more patient centric journey.
The Mater at Home team have also been involved in this review with a focus on opportunities to provide care beyond the hospital.
