Mater Pathology is no longer charging Mater private inpatients out-of-pocket costs for Pathology tests that are covered by the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
On 22 February, the Privacy Act was amended to require mandatory notification of data breaches to patients and the Regulator where the data breaches put the patient at risk of harm.
Revised referral guidelines for publicly funded specialist outpatient services commenced implementation from 1 March 2018.
