New and improved admission guides have arrived!

After a lot of consultation with our patients and admission teams, we are pleased to announce that our new admission guides are now available across the state.

We know how overwhelming a hospital admission can be for patients and their families, which is why we have developed a more robust admission guide—a handy how-to—to aid patients in their preparation for their stay at a Mater hospital. The admission guides have new and updated information for patients including maps, what to bring with them, how to prepare for their procedure, contact information, clinical forms and much more.

We encourage you to continue having conversations with your patients about their questions and concerns before admission to hospital—the new admission guides may support those discussions and provide the answers they’re looking for.
