Mater Group Christmas-New Year Opening Hours

Mater Group is committed to the ongoing safety and care of the community during the holiday period. While there are some closures of Mater facilities and services, many services will continue to open over the Christmas-New Year Eve break.

Mater wishes you and your family a safe and happy Christmas.

Emergency

The emergency departments at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane and Mater Hospital Brisbane remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Mater Hospital Brisbane

Specialist Outpatient Clinics: Reduced specialist outpatient services delivering urgent clinics only from 24 December resuming full activity 7 January. Referrals can still be sent for safe processing during this period.

Mater Health Centres

Mater Specialist Suites Brookwater will be closed from 23 December to 3 January, returning 7 January.

Mater Private Hospital Redland Sessional Suites

Mater Private Hospital Redland sessional suites will be closed from 24 December to 6 January, returning 7 January.

Mater Mothers’ Hospitals

Maternal Fetal Medicine
Closed from 25 December to 26 December, returning 27 December and also on 1 January, returning 2 January.

Antenatal Clinic
Closed from 25 December to 26 December, returning 27 December and also on 1 January, returning 2 January.

Mater Cancer Care Centre

Closed 25 and 26 December, returning 27 December.

Mater Private Breast Cancer Centre

Closed from 24 December to 1 January, returning 2 January.

Annerley Road Campus

Level four and level five closed from 24 December to 5 January, returning 6 January.

Mater in Mind

Closed 25, 26 and 27 December and 1 January.

Mater Pharmacy

Springfield
30 Health Care Drive, Springfield.
Trading 9 am to 12 noon 25 and 26 December and 8 am to 5 pm 27, 28 and 31 December.
Regular opening hours on other days remain the same.

Brookwater
Mater Health Centre Brookwater, 2 Tournament Drive, Brookwater.
Closed 25 and 26 December and 1 January.

Hope Island

Closed from 22 December to 6 January, returning 7 January.

Mater Medical Imaging

Mater Medical imaging will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
