Hosted by Dr Sanjeev Naidu Director Surgical and Acute Care Services and A/Prof Lewis Perrin Clinical Director Gynaecological Oncology, delegates will hear from two leading international specialists in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Gastroenterology.

Prof Donal Brennan is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist whose main surgical interests include laparoscopic pelvic surgery and cytoreductive surgery for advanced ovarian cancer. Prof Brennan has done extensive research in the field of precision medicine and connected health and will speak about his findings and its relevance to the future of medical practice.
A/Prof David Hewett is a Gastroenterologist, Therapeutic Colonoscopist and health services researcher who is has done extensive clinical research on the effectiveness of colonoscopy for bowel cancer screening, and he has published widely on new colonoscopic techniques and methods to improve physician performance of colonoscopy. He has parallel interests in health systems research and medical education, including quality of patient care, intergroup relations, and procedural skills training. A/Prof Hewett will present on Polyps and Cancer.
