Biography

Dr Warrick Smith is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with special clinical interests in early pregnancy assessment and infertility.

Dr Smith graduated from The University of Queensland and completed specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology throughout South East Queensland.

Following this, he undertook elective training at the Adelaide and Meath Hospital and Rotunda Hospital—the oldest maternity hospital in the world—in Dublin, while also lecturing at Trinity College. Dr Smith then returned to Mater Health Services to complete his training.

Dr Smith chose to work in obstetrics and gynaecology for the overall combination of medicine, surgery and antenatal care that makes the specialty both stimulating and rewarding. He currently consults from Watkins Medical Centre at Spring Hill.
