Biography

Dr Ming Ho completed general surgical training in Newcastle and obtained the fellowship of the College of Surgeons in Australia (FRACS). He was in the UK to further his training in coloproctology in 2017 and obtained his membership of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) and the fellowship of the College of Surgeons (FRCSEd).

He is proficient in a variety of surgeries including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel resection, and hernia repair; breast surgeries; haemorrhoids and skin surgeries.

He is accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and the Joint Advisory Group on gastrointestinal endoscopy of the UK (JAG) to perform colonoscopy and gastroscopy.

He also providing THD® Anopress, a newer technology to manage anorectal problems e.g. rectocele, faecal incontinent, chronic constipation, anismus, obstructed defecation, rectal prolapse, obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS). 

He is currently appointed as a staff surgeon at the Prince Charles Hospital along with consulting and operating privately at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
