Biography

Dr John Radovanovic completed his medical degree at the University of NSW in 1999 and became an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2007.

Following early orthopaedic trauma exposure at Liverpool and St George Hospital in Sydney, he completed his advanced training in Orthopaedics whilst working at the Mater, Cairns Base Hospital, QEII Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. This training was completed in 2007 and he was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.

In 2008 Dr Radovanovic undertook further specialist training in the United Kingdom at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire, under the supervision of Mr Tim Spalding and Professor Damien Griffin. During this time he subspecialised in lower limb surgery, including techniques in knee arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy and joint revision surgery.

On return to Australia in 2009, he continued to further his experience in trauma and lower limb joint replacement at Westmead Hospital in Sydney with Dr Roger Brighton.

Dr Radovanovic has an interest in all aspects:

  • Hip surgery
  • Sports injuries.

Dr Radovanovic admits patients to Mater Private Hospital Brisbane in addition to performing work at Mater Adult Hospital, Mater Children’s Hospital and Mater Children's Private Hospital. Dr Radovanovic also performs intermediate surgery.
